DEN STUDIO designed, supplied and built the complete audio, stage lighting and live-performance infrastructure for Pony and Plume, the signature whisky bar at Capella Hotel, Galaxy Macau.

Pony and Plume has quickly become one of Macau’s most sought-after destinations, known for its rare single malts, premium spirits, lively terrace and high-quality live entertainment. A five-piece Latin band performs bossa nova, salsa, Latin pop and fusion jazz, creating an atmosphere that is elegant and energetic at once.

In 2025, DEN STUDIO transformed the venue into a true high-fidelity live-music destination. The core system is a Nexo LCR point-source configuration with full surround. 12-inch and 10-inch speakers provide powerful front-of-house coverage, supported by 15-inch and 18-inch subwoofers. Discreet 4-inch near-field speakers serve the sofa, bar and VIP areas, while concealed 10-inch subs deliver balanced, coherent bass.

The system switches between a refined BGM mode and a high-SPL live mode, with wireless microphones, in-ear monitors, band monitors and a portable DJ setup. Zones are controlled from iPad interfaces for the musicians, with local buttons and a central touchscreen.

Carefully integrated into the luxurious equestrian-inspired décor, the system and dynamic lighting support every performance. The terrace uses weather-resistant Quest MX speakers with a dedicated live mix.

Delivered on time and within budget, Pony and Plume is now a flagship live-music destination at Capella Hotel, offering nights of whisky, music and Latin vibes.
